Terms and Conditions

 

Booking

Only a provisional booking can be made by telephone or email. A non-refundable

deposit is required to secure the booking. The provisional booking date will be held

for 48 hours after which it will be made available if a signed booking form and

payment hasn’t been received. All bookings will be confirmed by Tavy Inflatables

 upon receipt of a £30 deposit. This can be via credit/debit using Paypal or

transfer

The balance is payable in by transfer the week before the event or cash on the day

of the event, prior to setup.

On delivery of the equipment, you will be required to sign a Delivery & Set Up

Acceptance Form, We also require a signed copy of these Terms and conditions.

In the event of your cancellation, the deposit is forfeited as it is non-refundable.

However, if more than 14 days notice is given, the deposit can be transferred for

hire on another day subject to availability.

In the unlikely event of our cancellation, the deposit will be refunded to you.

Any changes to the booking must be received in writing or e-mail and agreed by

Tavy Inflatables prior to the event.

All prices are subject to change at any time (excluding confirmed bookings).

The package price includes hire for a maximum of 3 hours.

 

Delivery

It is the Hirer’s responsibility to check that the venue has sufficient space for the

package.

Please allow up to 30 minutes before the event for us to deliver and setup the

equipment, and also 30 minutes after the event for us to take down and remove

the equipment.

It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure easy access to the venue for unloading

and loading of equipment. Any restrictions (e.g. lack of parking, stairs) must be

reported to King of the Castles MK prior to the event.

We will endeavour to arrive and setup on time, but Tavy Inflatables will not

be held responsible for delay incurred due to circumstances beyond our control

(e.g. traffic problems, bad weather).

Tavy Inflatables will setup the equipment taking into account full safety of

the children, and therefore the equipment must not be moved. We will not accept

any responsibility for accidents, injury or damage during the period of hire.

If damage or loss has occurred, the hirer will incur a charge.

Health & Safety

It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the Packages including bouncy

castles to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage. Please

ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed:

The Soft Play has an age limit of 5 years old. Please ensure no one over this age

uses the Soft Play equipment. Bouncy castles are for Children only

 

Bouncy Castles and the Soft play MUST be supervised at all times by an adult

(18+) *the hirer takes the responsibility of this by signing the terms and

conditions

No food, drinks or chewing gum are allowed on or near the Soft Play.

All shoes, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the Soft Play.

Parents/guardians who enter the soft play area whilst supervising must remove

their shoes

For hygiene reason, socks should be worn whilst using the Soft Play and bouncy

castle equipment.

Party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the

Soft Play or bouncy castles

No smoking or barbecues near the Soft Play and Bouncy castle

A responsible Adult (over 18 years old) must supervise the Equipment at all

times. Tavy Inflatables do not supervise the event. King of the Castles MK

accepts no liability for any accidents or injuries that may occur whilst the

equipment is on hire.

Always ensure that the Soft Play and bouncy castle is not overcrowded, and limit

numbers according to the age and size of children using it.

Children must not push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or

cause distress to others.

No pets or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Soft Play or bouncy

castles.

Please ensure that an area of 3 feet (1 metre) around the Soft Play is completely

clear.

 

General

Ball Pit – please ensure adults do not sit in or lean against the walls of the ball

pit.

No Shoes are to be worn on the equipment.

Any damage to the equipment must be reported to Tavy Inflatables upon

collection of the equipment- The Hirer will be responsible for any loss or damage

of equipment during the Hire Period and will be charged accordingly before

packing away equipment the damage must be paid for.

Face Paints- we are happy for you to use face paints but the hirer is responsible

for cleaning all face paints off the equipment prior to collection- a cleaning

surcharge may be added if not.

If the Hirer is not satisfied with the set up of the equipment, they must state at

the time of set up before signing the Delivery & Set Up Acceptance Form.

We cannot accept any responsibility for injuries cause by misuse of the

equipment.

Tavy Inflatables are covered by Public Liability Insurance, and a copy of

this is available on request.

 

DISCLAIMER

Please note that all persons hiring and using this equipment do so at their own risk. The person/organisation hiring the equipment will

be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the

safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Our company

cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

CIVID-19 Update on Terms

We have been working with Local trading standards and HSE standards.

Under no circumstances will an inflatable be provided to any public gathering In line with Covid-19 Regulations 2020.

The inflatable will be for use solely by those within that household- If social distancing rule allow other people to enter household- the 2 metre rule will still apply and

advise that bouncy castles cannot provide a safe social distance.

The equipment will be set up in private enclosed gardens on grass.

All payments will be online payments.

Gated access to gardens only, we cannot take equipment through houses.

We would require an outdoor socket, or an extension ready for our arrival.

No contact with us on setup and pack up. The residents of the household must remain inside for when we are on site. If anyone in the household is showing

symptoms of Covid-19 or has in the past 14 days you must inform us on the morning and we will not supply the inflatable.

Each inflatable will not be used for at least 3 days between hires.

Our drivers will be using different disposable gloves for each set up and collection and will be supplied with sanitising hand gels, shoe covers etc for where necessary.

Bouncy castles are not to be used for public gatherings hire is for household members only.

We reserve the right to refuse any hire on the delivery if the above terms are not adhered to.

 By Ticking the box you are agreeing to these terms, any breech of terms could result in us collecting items early.
